Long Neck convenience store robbed

Delaware State Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Long Neck convenience store on Nov. 7.

At about 9 p.m., the man entered Shell Food Market, 24851 John J. Williams Highway – formerly known as Dash In – with a sharp instrument and demanded cash from the register, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delawre State Police.

The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was uninjured, Jaffe said.

The man is described as about 5-feet-6-inches and wearing dark-colored clothing.
