Longtime colleague endorses Schlosser

August 11, 2017

As someone who has known and worked with Lisa Schlosser for over 30 years, and as a resident of Rehoboth Beach, I wanted to strongly endorse her for commissioner.

I was a classmate of Lisa's in high school, where she ran for office and was known even then as a leader, and as someone who was passionate about our school and always looked out for her classmates' best interests.

I continued to work with Lisa throughout our careers, as we both worked in the information technology sector in the Washington, D.C. area. True to her roots, she was known across this sector for her business skills, willingness to listen and collaborate, and her ability to get things done.

Despite the complexity of the federal government, she constantly reached out to her private and public sector colleagues to get their input before decisions were made, and our input was clearly reflected in new policies and strategies.

I am excited that Lisa is now a full-time resident of Rehoboth Beach, and will be here every day looking out for our interests. Since my husband and I are planning on spending retirement in the Rehoboth Beach area, I am even more enthusiastic about having someone of Lisa Schlosser's caliber and expertise looking out for our community's interests.

I encourage all voters to elect Lisa Schlosser. She will listen to you, be your voice, and she will help keep our town progressing in a balanced way.
