Lopez spreading bad marijuana information

May 29, 2017

Sen. Ernie Lopez, in a newsletter published May 26, stated that there has been a 600 percent rise in the number of marijuana-related traffic accidents in Colorado, offering no proof, not even a source for this gross misstatement.

He provides no data, but would like us to believe this.

I refer to this as a lie by omission, an old concept of lying that politicians and editorialists ignore in their efforts to be "fair."
