Loretta Bondeson, had many talents

Loretta Bondeson, 60, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017. She was born in Astoria, N.Y., and is preceded in death by her mother and father, Erle and Sally Bondeson; and a brother Frank Bondeson.

She is survived by her dear friend, Debbie Wallace and their precious dog, Gracie, who brought her so much joy.

She is also survived by a sister, Roseann Davis of North Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews and a great-niece and great-nephews.

Loretta served in the U.S. Navy as a seaman. She worked for Tyco in Princeton, N.J., as a senior site manager. She was an avid fan of football, and dedicated her Sundays to watching football. She loved gardening and cooking, and shared many recipes and meals with friends and neighbors.

She had many talents. One of them was renovating, designing and decorating. Her home was her pride and joy. She always helped friends with their home projects. She was an avid card player, and belonged to American Legion Post 28 Pinochle League and the Pot-Nets Lakeside Pinochle League.

Arrangements have been made by Melson's Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, and Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home of Philadelphia, Pa., assisted.

A celebration of life and memorial dinner will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Lakeside Community Clubhouse, Lakeshore Circle, Long Neck.
