Lucille M. Pepe, touched many lives

Lucille M. Pepe, 74, died peacefully Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loving, extended family.

Lucille graduated from Padua Academy in 1960. She worked for many years at Fisherman's Wharf in Lewes, and shared many great memories with her "Wharf family." For the past 16 years Lucille worked at Govatos in Wilmington where her loyal customers came to eat, and enjoy her wit and humor. She loved her family, and spent every free hour with her grandchildren, and enjoyed attending their school events and sports. In her spare time, Lucille enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards, poker, and spending time at Delaware Park.

Lucille was predeceased by her brother Sal Rossi; mother Mary Rossi; and her first husband Theodore Robertson. She is survived by her husband Joseph Pepe; children Yvette Perdue (Wade), Yvonne Robertson, and Theodore Robertson (Cindy); siblings Ralph Rossi Jr., Arthur Rossi and Catherine Beck; grandchildren Dawn Marie Robertson, Cassidy Robertson, Branda Perdue, Lucy McCue, Katelyn Robertson, Bayleigh and Bethany Perdue; great-grandchildren Logan and Hallie Freeney; stepchildren Joey Pepe, Patty Pepe and Michael Pepe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families, whom she loved dearly and were always there for her, especially at the end of her illness.

Lucille touched so many lives with her beautiful soul. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 10, from 9 to 11:15 a.m., at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N. DuPont Highway, Wilmington. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
