Lung Force walk held in Rehoboth Beach

October 25, 2017

The American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic held its 4th Annual Lung Force Walk Oct. 15 at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. Over 300 people walked to raise awareness and funds to defeat lung cancer.

Signs posted around the walk route stated facts such as lung cancer is the No. 1 killer of women. Anyone can get it; if you have lungs, you can get lung cancer; and it’s on the rise in women. More than 32 million Americans suffer from asthma, COPD, which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis, and other lung diseases.
