A 30-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was injured and robbed at a party in Dewey Beach Aug. 5.

The incident was reported about 1:45 a.m. at 2000 Coastal Highway Unit 201, where the victim was found with an injury to his head, said Sgt. Clifford Dempsey of the Dewey Beach Police Department.

The victim told police he was at a party and went out to a third-floor balcony with Lewes resident Michael Miller, 21, and Smyrna resident McGregor Bernadine, 24. He said Miller and Bernadine then hit him on the head, knocking him out.

When he woke up, he said his Rolex watch, valued at $20,000, was missing. Miller and Bernadine were arrested shortly after the incident, Dempsey said.

Police recovered the Rolex, which was hidden close by. Miller and Bernadine both are charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. They each were sent to Sussex Correctional Institution on $22,000 bond.
