This is to voice my opposition to the proposed B-1 rezoning of the Gills Neck Rd. Kings Highway parcel.
As a resident of Breakwater, one of the communities on Gills Neck Road, I do not need nor want a small shopping center at that location or anywhere near that location.
Route 1 offers all the shopping centers I need, and as a resident, it's easy enough to drive there as well as avoid significant traffic by traveling during off-peak hours.
Furthermore, building a small shopping center/offices at that location endangers our supply of potable water. It is reckless to take such action which has the potential to adversely affect so many people.
