March 24 Teller Wines Expo auctions to include artwork, trips

March 17, 2018

The 2018 Teller Wines Expo, set for 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 24, will feature up to 100 premier wines for tasting, gourmet tapas from local restaurants, and silent and live auctions with incredible one-of-a-kind items up for bid. Event proceeds will benefit the Lewes Historical Society.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.tellerwines.com or at Teller Wines, 1201 Savannah Road, Lewes.

Featured in the auction will be a variety of beautiful artwork from local artists, including a Lightship Overfalls white-line woodcut by Lewes artist Fred Dylla. The woodcut is a unique marriage of woodcarving and watercolors in the form of an image carved on wood and then transferred to paper. Each print made from the woodblock is a unique piece of art.

Other artwork to be auctioned off includes an oil painting by Lewes artist George W. Thompson, photography by Rehoboth artist Susan Donohoe, and a giclée by Lewes artist Howard J. Eberle. Also featured will be a photo printing, enlargement, and mounting package by Print Coast to Coast and picture framing by Peninsula Gallery.
