Martha Camilla (Schneider) Gano, dental hygienist

Martha Camilla (Schneider) Gano, 63, of Ocean View, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born July 12, 1953, in Baltimore to Robert J. and Norma R. Schneider.

Before her retiremen, Martha was a dental hygienist at Maplewood Dental Associates with 29 years of service. Martha had many interests and talents, including snow skiing, motorcycle riding, cooking, gardening, design, skating and martial arts. She was also an avid lover of cats.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Martha is survived by her mother, Norma Rosalie Schneider of Lively, Va,; two sisters, Rita Giannico of Madison, Va., and Roseanne Schneider of Fenwick; and three brothers, Paul Schneider of Laurel, Md., Greg Schneider of Nashville, Tennessee., and Robert J. Schneider, Jr. of Denison, Texas. She was formerly married to Rob Gano.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m., at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
