Matthew B. Rembish, bright, loving person

Mr. Matthew B. Rembish, 23, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. 

Matthew was born June 23, 1994, in Okinawa, Japan. He was a 2012 graduate of Sussex Central High School. He was employed by Boulevard Auto Sales in Lewes as a Certified Sales Consultant, and formerly worked as a line cook at the Blue Water Grill in Millsboro. He loved cars, especially Volkswagens, as well as music, dancing, and the beach. He was a bright and loving person inside and out, and his passion for life and desire to put others before himself is unmatched.

Matthew leaves behind his mother, Jessica LaLave and stepfather Joseph Hensley of Millsboro; fiancée Christine MacAllister of Georgetown; three brothers, William Rembish of Newark, Joseph Hensley of Laurel and Zachary LaLave of Millsboro; two sisters, Caitlin Abrams of Newark and Haliegh Hensley of Laurel; maternal grandfather John LaLave of Millsboro; and best friends Christopher Hopkins and Ashley Switalski, both of Millsboro. He is also survived by his two feline friends, Shadow and Don Julio, whom he nicknamed Squish.

A memorial service is being planned by the family.
