Michael Evans Frampton, Perdue retiree

Michael Evans Frampton, 67, of Bridgeville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017. He was born in Easton, Md., Dec. 24, 1949, son of the late Charles and Helen Frampton.

Mr. Frampton attended high school in Easton, graduating in 1967. He joined the Navy in 1968 where he served four years, and continued in the Navy Reserves for 24 more years, retiring in 1997. He was employed at Perdue for 37 years before retiring from there. He was a member of the NRA, AMA and the American Legion.

He is survived by his fiancee, Sue Banos; his children, Charles Frampton of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Kathryn Frampton and her husband Julio Umanzor of Brooklyn, N.Y.; his grandchildren: Everett, Lincoln, Holden and Gavin; and his brother, John Frampton and his wife Carol of Cordova, Md.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where friends may visit beginning at 1 p.m. The family requests casual attire be worn to the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Frampton's name to the Delaware Humane Society, 701 A St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
