Milton Arts Guild to host watercolor class Sept. 20

Milton Arts Guild announced September's Artful Touch class will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 310 Walnut St., Milton. Award-winning local watercolorist Gerilyn Gaskill will guide students through creation of a winter scene in watercolor. This class features demonstration plus painting along with the instructor.

"We will be exploring the ebb and flow of watercolors and their unique way of blending," said Gaskill. Various tips and techniques including wet-on-wet, dry brush and glazing will be demonstrated. Students may bring their own brushes, palettes and paper, but supplies for this class will be provided. A no-pressure environment makes these classes a great way to try something new or revisit an art style.
