Milton Garden Club hears presentation on tropicals

Local gardener Joe Seamone was the guest speaker at the April 20 meeting of the Milton Garden Club. Seamone has a passion for tropicals; he spoke and showed slides of tropical plants, including palm trees, which he has planted in his garden in Milton. Some of his slides showed the amazing growth of these plants from early May to June to late August. Also of interest was the care needed to ensure that they survive local winters.
