Mitchell A. Ryan, compassionate caregiver

Mitchell A. Ryan, 66, of Rehoboth Beach, died in peace at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. He was born July 16, 1951, in Lancaster, Pa., son of Evelyn M. Ryan and the late Martin A. Ryan. In addition to his mother, Mitchell is survived by his sisters, Michelle and Colleen; and nieces and nephews.
Mitch served in the U.S. Navy as a medical corpsman and surgical tech. He was a master barber and compassionate caregiver.
Mitch loved walking the Cape Henlopen State Park beach and cooking for family and friends.
Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
