The fifth annual Big Fish Grill 5K, run April 30 and slowing down church traffic (honk twice if you love Jesus), was run under perfect 67-degree conditions and won by popular local runner Moiber Rivera in a time of 19:07.
Joining Moiber at the top of the leaderboard were BJ Fox in 19:25, Brandt Chi in 19:30, Gerard Jones in 19:39 and Jeffrey Andresen in 20:16.
Allison Huthmacher, 13, was the first woman in 23:07, followed by Lindsey Hertrich in 24:07, Jackie Quigley in 24:12, Natalia Hernandez in 24:33 and Ava Cannon in 25:35.
The race benefits the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation and the Big Fish Charitable Foundation. Big Fish also gave away a $1,000 savings bond to one K-12 student who ran in the race.
