Mountaire Farms holds Thanksgiving at Easter
Volunteers crowd a warehouse at Mountaire to pack boxes. These boxes will go to area churches, and they will distribute the food to families in need.

Roger Marino, Mountaire director of community relations, walks amongst the volunteers saying hi to Jack McGowan from FOP Lodge 16. Marino said, “Three times a year we give thanks for what the good Lord gave us.”

Mountaire Farms held its Annual Thanksgiving at Easter food donation event April 11 at its Selbyville plant. Volunteers from churches, American Legion Post 28 and students from Selbyville Middle School Honor Society all pitched in to pack 1,200 boxes with chicken and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving at Easter Meal. Mountaire donates food three times a year with Thanksgiving at Christmas, Thanksgiving at Easter and Thanksgiving at Thanksgiving.
