N. Pauline Stevenson, Cape cafeteria employee

N. Pauline Stevenson, 82, of Lewes, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born Monday, April 15, 1935, in Lewes, daughter of the late David and Sadie Taylor.

A lifelong resident of Lewes, Mrs. Stevenson was the primary caretaker for her brothers and sisters, and later, her children. For many years she was employed by Cape Henlopen schools as a cafeteria worker. She was a lifelong member of Conley's United Methodist Church in Lewes. Mrs. Stevenson enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles, but more than anything, she cherished the moments spent with her dear family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stevenson was preceded in death in 2008 by her beloved husband, Robert D. Stevenson. She is survived by her sons: David W. Stevenson and Robert Stevenson, both of Lewes; her brother, Edgar Taylor of Lewes; her sister, Bertha Littleton of Millsboro; and her several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 22, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Stevenson's memory to Conley's United Methodist Church Capital Reserve Fund: 33106 Jolyn's Way, Lewes, DE 19958.
