New boutique real estate office opens in Lewes

Richard Bryan continues real estate and auction business
November 14, 2017

Being local continues to work wonders as a competitive edge in the real estate market. When hopeful prospects roll into town, they want personal attention and an education on what's what, who's who and where to go. Homegrown in Lewes, Richard Bryan knows the turf and certainly its townspeople. "Richard knows what's about to sell even before the market does ... a good guy to be in touch with if you're selling or looking for property," said Ken Bentsen, a recent buyer in Rehoboth.

"It truly is about who you know and who folks trust and talk to," said Bryan. "I imagine there are a lot of real estate agents who have their licenses right about now, as the market is saturated with interest due to our low tax and interest rates, but it's nice to have this edge that sets me apart as a local. I hope it continues to serve me well in my office at Delaware Coastal Realty."

Having been directly involved with the changes in the real estate market over the last 25 years, Bryan continues to have his finger on the pulse, knowing when, how and who will be making decisions about their property. "He's the real deal," said Doris Ingram, a recent seller in Lewes. "He knows just about everyone in Sussex County, whether they're thinking about making a move or have a neighbor who might be. With his attention to detail and keeping on top of things and always being helpful, he is a pleasure to have on your side in the real estate world."

Delaware Coastal Realty officially opened its doors Oct. 23 at 1143 Savannah Road in the Savannah Station office campus in Lewes. Bryan has held a Delaware real estate license since 1982. A graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and University of Delaware, Bryan was educated at Nashville Auction School and has been busy for decades of auctioning and selling real estate, and doing charity fundraising, commercial liquidation and farm sales throughout Delaware.
