Milton continues comp plan review

Milton Board of Adjustment to meet
Milton Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, on a variance request from Prairie Dog LLC. The company is seeking a variance from the minimum required first-floor elevation in a special flood hazard for the property at 207 Union St., which is within the town's historic district. Inland Bays fish survey orientation March 30
The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays will hold an orientation for its annual fish survey volunteers at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at the center's office on Inlet Road in Rehoboth Beach. The meeting will include an introduction to the survey, safety information, team and equipment assignments, and a light dinner. Carney to address the General Assembly
Gov. John Carney is scheduled to address a joint session of the General Assembly for the first time since taking office, at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 30. The address is going to take place in the Delaware Senate Chamber, Dover.

Dewey marketing committee to meet
The Dewey Beach Marketing Committee has scheduled a meeting for 4 p.m., Friday, March 31, in the Dewey Beach Life Saving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave. The meeting agenda calls for a presentation by the Dewey Artists Collaboration on Sea Witch float design options, a discussion on the creation of a Dewey Beach video and the creation of a photo-op board. Delaware CAN activist training April 1
The Delaware Cannabis Advocacy Network will host an activist training session from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at the Rehoboth Beach Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, 19540 Coastal Highway. The session is part of a month of activities promoting upcoming cannabis legislation. Milton committee to discuss sustainability
Milton Economic Development's Sustainability Subcommittee will meet at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, at the Milton Public Library, 121 Union St. Michael Parkowski of Delaware Solid Waste Authority will be a featured speaker.
