Martin is a registered nurse who is active in community service, past member of Cape Henlopen Board of Education and has awards for outstanding service to the community and her clients. She is married to Dr. Francis Martin Jr. and has two children: ErinAnn Beebe, Realtor, and Ryan Francis Martin, who recently graduated with his master's degree in teaching.
