Ocean Atlantic to sponsor golf event for Children’s Beach House
Children’s Beach House announced the Ocean Atlantic Companies as Naming Sponsor for this year’s annual charity golf event to be held beginning at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, at Peninsula Golf & Country Club, a private Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. The CBH Charity Golf Event is an opportunity for golfers to play the exclusive private course at Peninsula while also supporting Delaware’s at-risk children.

My Aunt Connie [Miller], Uncle Rowland [Marshall] and Aunt Linda [Fischer] have served many years on the board of CBH, and I'm grateful to be able to help the Children’s Beach House Golf Event be a success,” said Preston Schell, chairman and CEO of Ocean Atlantic.
Proceeds from the event support CBH’s mission to help children with communicative disabilities and other special needs be successful in life, and to empower them to move beyond whatever limitations they have to reach their highest potential. The CBH Youth Development Program provides year-round case management and mentoring, weekend enrichment programs and summer camp experiences. The program engages children in safe activities that promote social and emotional development, build confidence and resiliency, and forge supportive relationships with peers and caring adults.
The event costs $225 per golfer and includes time on the driving range, a round of golf, golf carts, lunch, golfer contests and prizes, and a poolside dinner buffet. Non-golfers can attend the dinner buffet for $75 per person.
