Opening reception set at Milton Arts Guild Jan. 12

The theme for the Milton Arts Guild's first exhibit of 2018 is ‘Make Me Smile.’
Featured will be happy moments that bring smiles, such as paintings of children at play, a joyful vacation moment, a loved one’s face, an upbeat song, or simple pleasures at home like a cup of tea and a cookie.
An opening reception is set for 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 12, and the exhibit will run through Tuesday, Feb. 27. The reception is free to the public with complimentary refreshments. The address is 310 Walnut St. in historic Milton.
