Organ recitals at the beach set Thursdays through Aug. 10

All Saints' Episcopal Church presents its Ninth Annual Summer Organ Series with recitals offered from 12:15 to 1 p.m., Thursdays through Aug. 10. Featured are prominent organists from the immediate and extended area.

  • June 29 - Edward Landin, assistant director of music, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Bryn Mawr, Pa.
  • July 6 - Jackson Borges, organist and director of music, All Saints' Episcopal Church, Rehoboth Beach.
  • July 20 - Victoria Shields, director of music and organist, First Presbyterian Church, New Canann, Conn.
  • July 27 - Leslie C. Smith, director of music and organist, Round Hill Community Church, Greenwich, Conn.
  • Aug. 3 - Andrew Senn, director of music and organist, First Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, Pa.
  • Aug. 10 - Julie Vidrick Evans, director of music, Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, Washington, D.C.

The Summer Organ Series is part of the Concerts by the Sea Series of The Episcopal Parish of All Saints' Church & St. George's Chapel, both of which are organized and administered by Jackson Borges, organist and parish director of music. All Saints' Episcopal Church is at 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Some free parking is available adjacent to the rectory on Olive Avenue.

There is no charge for admission, but a freewill offering will be collected to support the music ministry of the parish. For more information, call the parish office, 302-227-7202.
