Pamela ‘Pam’ Ann Curry, Fresh Air Fund coordinator

Pamela "Pam" Ann Curry, 75, of Seaford passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. She was born Dec. 19, 1942, to the late Wolford and Betty Van Valkenburg in Perry, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Gracie Gallagher, and her son David Allen Prior.

She is survived by her lifelong friend Gretta Smith; her cherished children, Shawn Prior, Linda Ellis-Bland and Tina Rivera; grandchildren Sarah Ellis, Jeff King, Mali Belcamino, Jennifer Ellis, Christina Festevole, Jason Ellis, Jonathan Santon, and April Prior; not forgetting numerous great-grandchildren, and her beloved four-legged children as well.

Pam took immense pride in her work with special needs children through her employment with Howard T. Ennis School, and her involvement in Special Olympics. She loved her position as head coordinator for the Eastern Shore Division of the Fresh Air Fund, and had an unbridled passion for helping children of all walks. Pam had a deep love of musicals, books, shopping and crafting.

In keeping with the wishes of Pamela Curry, there will be no services held. The family is requesting donations be made to The Fresh Air Fund online or via phone, 1800-367-0003, in memory of Pamela Curry "Miss Pam."
