Panetta thanks supporters in BPW race

May 15, 2018

I want to express my sincere appreciation for all of the support and hard work of those who backed my candidacy for the Lewes Board of Public Works.

I really enjoyed meeting so many customers of the BPW, and hearing your concerns and desires for the future.

We all owe Wendell Alfred a large dose of gratitude for his 18 years of services leading the board. It is the tireless efforts of people like Wendell that make Lewes the place that we all love.

I have a lot to learn and will look to the depth of expertise of the other board members and Darren Gordon, the general manager, in learning the ins and outs of the operation.

And mostly, I look forward to all of your input as the BPW makes plans for the future. Thank you.

Thomas Panetta
