Pathways to Success seeks sponsors by Oct. 10 for Sussex County Girls Summit set Nov. 10
Pathways to Success Inc. is accepting sponsorships for the Second Annual Sussex County Girls Summit set for Thursday, Nov. 10, at Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center. The theme for this event is Choose Success ... Ignite the Fire Within.
Young ladies in ninth through 12th grades need support in building their self-esteem, self-awareness and skills to make good life decisions. The event's keynote speaker is Melody Taylor, regional director of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Breakout session partners include Jacques Bowe, Sussex Tech educator; Will Reid, motivational speaker; Andrea Waters, LCSW; and Rita Karapurkar Williams, independent and Beebe Healthcare health coach.
Sponsors to date include Cape Gazette, Delaware Electric Cooperative Inc., Del-One Federal Credit Union, Fund for Women, M&T Bank, SoDel Cares and Sposato Landscape.
