Patricia Ann Keller, treasured her family

Patricia Ann Keller, 76, of Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at her home. She was born Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1940, in Allentown, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph J. and Flo (Giest) Vassil.

Mrs. Keller worked for both ASK Budget Maintenance and O & J Roberts School District as a cleaner. She also worked with the Spring Ford School District and Clusters Garage as an aide, serving on buses for children with autism. Mrs. Keller was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown, Pa., and Long Neck United Methodist Church in Millsboro. She bowled in her Sunday and Wednesday social leagues at Limerick Bowling Alley and enjoyed dining out with friends in her breakfast and dinner groups. Mrs. Keller loved the White Marlin Open and sunset happy hours on her golf cart by the water. She was a woman who genuinely liked meeting new people and making friends. Above all, she cherished time spent with her treasured family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth A. Moyer; her daughter, Sandra L. Moyer; and her brother, Joseph J. Vassil. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, George L. Keller of Millsboro; her sons: Raymond H. Moyer of Birdsborough, Pa., David James Moyer and his wife Samantha of Barto, Pa., Mark L. Keller of Williamstown, Pa., Scott A. Keller and his wife Kristina of Milton, and George L. Keller Jr. of Kutztown, Pa.; her 22 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and her sisters: Josephine Petrecz of Pottstown and Shirley Montgomery of Pottstown.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Keller's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 201 East Dupont Blvd., Millsboro, DE 19966.
