Patricia B. Dycio, Lewes volunteer

Patricia B. Dycio, 83, of Lewes passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, May 1, 2018. 



Pat worked for Diamond State Telephone before starting a family with her beloved husband, Steve. She enjoyed working at the puzzle shop in her later years.

 "Nene" enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Pat loved playing bridge, reading, crossword puzzles, consecutive gin with her grandchildren, and tennis with the Peaches. She enjoyed volunteering for the Lewes Historical Society, Lions Club, and Wilmington Flower Market. Some of her favorite memories included swim team, attending Phillies games and spending winters in Naples, Fla.

Family was very important to her, especially passing on family history. 

She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; daughter, Lynn; and brother, Ric. She is survived by her children; Jan, Chip (Becky), and Kim (John) Taylor; four grandchildren, Melody, Cassie (Brett), Trevor and Sierra; and three great-grandchildren, Briana, Carter and Ellie; and niece, Debbie.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m., at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek, where friends may visit from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
