Paul F. ‘Pete’ Lynch, fiddle player

Paul F. Lynch (Pete) of Gumboro passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Norma; his five children, their spouses, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His children are Michael (Donna), Larry (Norma), Joseph (Gin), Bonnie (Ken), Robin (Terry), and his loving daughter-in-law Reyna.

He worked for over 30 years as a farmer and as an equipment operator for the Delaware Department of Transportation. He was an avid fiddle player who was well known for his skill in the art of bluegrass music. He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his loving family and all of the lives he touched.

His funeral service will be private (family only). In lieu of flowers, the Lynch family requests a donation to Gumboro Wesleyan Church, 36842 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro, DE 19966.
