Peninsula Lamination makes a move

Rehoboth business relocates to Rehoboth Avenue Extended
October 27, 2016

After 16 years of offering professional lamination and framing services in downtown Rehoboth, owners of Peninsula Lamination Co. decided to move a little closer to the highway to keep prices low and offer a more convenient location for loyal customers.

“It's an opportunity to do a small version of what we've been doing for 16 years,” said Peninsula Lamination co-owner Bill Langkammer. “So far, the response from people has been excellent because they don't have to go into town.”

Langkammer said the new storefront in the Rehoboth Service Center on Rehoboth Avenue Extended next to Route 1 is about half the size of the business's former location on North First Street in downtown Rehoboth, but there's still plenty of room to get the job done. Peninsula Lamination offers lamination and framing services for everything from wedding invitations to jigsaw puzzles to large photographs.

“It's an alternate form of framing,” Langkammer said, crediting framing skills and the experience of his partner, Darryl Mears, for helping the business flourish.

“We can do anything the big guys do, without the big cost,” Langkammer said. Lamination services, which include wooden frames with custom colored edges and matting, cost a fraction of most framing services, he said.

Quality, cost and friendly service have inspired Lewes resident Larry Ritzmann to be a loyal customer, returning frequently to have wedding invitations laminated as gifts for family and friends.

“These guys have an eye for color and finish,” Ritzmann said, “and the price is good.”

Peninsula Lamination is now at 37021 Rehoboth Avenue Extd., Unit H, in the Rehoboth Service Center. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday. For information, call 302-226-7510 or go to www.peninsulalaminations.com.
