A Place For Her plans Nov. 18 ribbon cutting in Milford

November 14, 2017

Downtown Milford Inc. has announced a new downtown business, A Place For Her, at 10 SW Front St. Owner Sudline ”Sullie” Pratt called it "a place where ladies walk in beautiful and walk out feeling fabulous,” a dream she's wanted to express since childhood.

A native of New York City, Pratt moved to Georgetown 19 years ago and raised her daughter and son as a single parent. A former administrative assistant, she attends college working on a degree in human services despite the demands of owning an independent community business. "I've always been into fashion, and modeling my goal is to create a shop with the latest fashions at affordable prices." She refers to it as place for "teenagers to grandparents." The store, in addition to clothing, offers a variety of accessories, especially purses. Pratt plans to add a hair salon and cosmetic tattooing to A Place For Her.

The shop is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday. For more information, go to facebook.com/aplaceforherandfinearchesLlc or call 302-725-5434.

Join DMI in welcoming Sullie Pratt and A Place For Her to downtown Milford at a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, and wish her much success for the future.
