A Rehoboth Beach man faces charges after police say he threw a bucket of water through a window and then threatened residents with a baseball bat.

Keegan Dolan, 39, went to a home in the unit block of Spinning Wheel Lane, Colonial East, Rehoboth Beach, at 12:45 p.m. May 15 and made threats to a 24-year-old man and 34-year-old man inside, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.

Dolan banged on the home and then threw a bucket of water filled with cigarette butts through an open bedroom window, Jaffe said. The bucket struck one of the men and damaged the window blinds. Dolan then tried to climb through the window while threatening the residents with a baseball bat, Jaffe said. A wooden Louisville Slugger baseball bat was recovered from the scene, she said.

When police arrived, Jaffe said, Dolan was outside the home, and he was taken into custody without incident. He was taken to Troop 7 where he was charged with felony home invasion, two counts of felony aggravated menacing, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, offensive touching, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $25,500 unsecured bond.
