Preston Ford of Maryland soars to new sales records
Preston Ford beat all previous records in its latest hunt to be among the Top 100 Ford Dealers in the United States. Low prices, a great buying experience and a large selection of vehicles allow Preston Ford to rank as one of the nation's top Ford dealers year after year. But it is the success of Preston's Mission: Possible Year End Sales Event that keeps pushing Preston deeper into the Top 100.
Out of 3,200 Ford dealers across the United States, Preston Ford has a history of being among the Top 100 in sales volume. Originally making the Top 100 in the 1990s, Preston Ford began holding its Mission: Possible Year End Sales Event in 2009. This year, Preston Ford was able to reach an all-time high.
Previously, Preston Ford had ended the year at 93rd in 2010 and then 89th in 2011. In 2013, it finished 90th in the nation before making a leap to 72nd in 2014 and 79th in 2015. Preston Ford was able to climb to 63rd in the nation for 2016.
December kicked off Mission: Possible 5. Preston entered the sales event with three goals: to be the No. 1 Ford dealer for the year in the Washington, D.C. region, to be among the top 10 Ford dealers in the country for the month of December, and to be No. 59 in sales in the nation for 2017. Preston sold 529 new Ford cars, trucks, SUVs and commercial vehicles during its sales event. When it was over, Preston Ford was No. 1 for the year in sales in the Washington, D.C. region, No. 6 in the country for the month of December, and No. 54 in the nation for the year, and Preston Ford's Commercial Department finished at No. 8 in the nation in sales.

"Preston Ford has done it again in 2017," said Lisa Vigneault, Washington regional manager of Ford Motor Co. "They have finished in the Top 100 in the nation for sales volume out of 3,200 Ford dealers nationally. In fact, they finished No. 54, selling 2,520 new Ford vehicles, up 5 percent year-over-year, and all that volume even though they are located in a town of 800 people. They also finished No. 8 in the country in commercial trucks. We are very proud of their performance. Finishing No. 54 in the nation and No. 8 in commercial trucks is the highest rank Preston Ford has ever accomplished. This could not happen without a lot of hard work, dedication, and of course, commitment to their customers year after year."
