For the third consecutive year, the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation will present a $1,000 scholarship to a local junior or senior artist at this year's arts festival to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, in downtown Bethany Beach.

This scholarship will be awarded to the student chosen by professional local artists and voted on later by the public at the bandstand during the festival. Judging is open to the public, and all community members are encouraged to participate.
