Red Balloon Bash to benefit Cancer Support Community set April 29
The Cancer Support Community Delaware, Kent County will host its annual Red Balloon Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover. Presented by M&T Bank, the event includes a gourmet brunch with mimosas, complementary bloody mary bar, along with one-of-a-kind silent and live auction items. Raffle tickets are also available for an oversized wheelbarrow of cheer. All proceeds from this event benefit the support and educational programs provided at no cost to individuals and families that have been touched by cancer.
This year, the event will be honoring the memory of the late Marion Klein. Her dedication and commitment to the CSC mission over the past 16 years was unwavering, and she will be greatly missed.
Tickets are $65 per person or $500 for a table of eight. Red balloons can be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one for $25 each. Tagged balloons are displayed through out the event. People do not have to be present to honor that special someone.
