Dr. Lynn Toth to speak at Rehoboth library
February 7, 2017

The Village Improvement Association will present Dr. Lynn Toth as she offers information on stroke and heart health at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24, at the Rehoboth library. The presentation is titled Self-Invest with Self-Love. February marks American Heart Month, a great time to commit to a healthy lifestyle of heart health.

Toth is a nurse practitioner coordinating the advanced heart failure and stroke teams at Beebe Healthcare. She will discuss recognition and self-management of heart and vascular disease.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women and men in the United States. A healthy heart promotes a healthy brain. Understanding the signs and symptoms of both heart disease and stroke will decrease the chances of dying and/or living with disabilities. People need to know symptoms, their numbers and risk factors to understand stroke and heart disease prevention. Approaching heart disease means planning to improve the quality of life.

A recent graduate of Walden University and a past graduate of Emory University, Toth is a recipient of a VIA nursing scholarship.

Seats are limited. To register go to: www.rehobothlibrary.org/adults/featured-event/132-via-heart-health.html.
