January 1, 2018

Sussex Tech Adult Education announced its Winter/Spring course schedule for 2017-18. To view the schedule of courses, go to www.SussexTechTraining.net. Copies of the brochure are also available at a variety of supermarkets, convenience stores and other locations throughout Sussex County. Classes fill up quickly, so interested students are encouraged to register early.

Again this year, the Sussex Tech Adult Division is offering a variety of courses in several disciplines. Health Professions classes include Electronic Health Records, Pharmacy Technician and Phlebotomy. The widely recognized Certified Nursing Assistant program is available with both day and evening classes. For those interested in a position in the hospitality industry, courses are available in the Hospitality Certification program.

Career and technical training is available in welding, HVAC-R, and early care and education. Sussex Tech Adult Education also offers apprenticeship training in electrical trades, plumbing, auto mechanics, and more. The school also offers customized contract training programs for employers, with classes at the school or an employer's worksite.

If life's challenges prevented people from earning a high school diploma, it is never to late to reach that goal. The James H. Groves Adult High School at Sussex Tech is the answer. Classes are available in Georgetown, Ellendale, Laurel, Lewes, Seaford and Selbyville, and they offer flexible hours.

Sussex Tech Adult Division's current course catalog contains all the information needed to enroll in these and many other classes that can improve life. With proper training, anyone can be a learner today and an earner tomorrow.
