Rehoboth Arena’s undergoes a facelift

April 15, 2017

After more than 20 years in business, Arena’s in Rehoboth Beach is getting a makeover.

The popular eatery will be closed until May 1 as it undergoes significant structural changes expected to cost $250,000 to $300,000, co-owner Paul Kuhns said.

Kuhns said Arena’s purchased the small shop next door and will be expanding into it, although the restaurant will add only a few extra seats. The new space will accommodate a larger kitchen and storage space, and new bathrooms will comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act, he said. One major change customers will see is the relocation of the bar, Kuhns said.
