Rehoboth Art League invites all to 8th Annual Holiday Open House Dec. 2
The Rehoboth Art League campus will be decorated for the season, and the galleries will offer an impressive selection of fine art, fine crafts and holiday gift items for their 8th annual Holiday Open House Saturday, Dec. 2.
The schedule of activities for the day includes:
• 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Santa will be making a special stop at the RAL Open House
• 11 a.m. to noon - Roo Brown and Mixed Blessings - An a cappella group singing a little bit holiday and a little bit Gershwin.
• 1 to 2 p.m. - Barbara Twigg on the piano with holiday favorites.
• 3 to 4 p.m. - Chris Johnson on the piano with old favorites, some holiday songs and maybe a sing-along.
Fine art and fine crafts from art league members will be on display and for sale in the Corkran, Tubbs and Ventures galleries throughout the holidays. The variety of holiday gift ideas will include jewelry, paintings, ceramics, glass work, sculpture, metal and wearable fiber art. The tree in the main gallery will be decorated with ornaments made by member artists that may be purchased.
The Henlopen Acres gallery hours throughout the season are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. The galleries are closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
