Rehoboth Beach celebrates Arbor Day

May 15, 2017

Rehoboth Beach officials were joined by the 4th grade class from Rehoboth Elementary School along with volunteers to celebrate Arbor Day April 28 in Stockley Street Park. Mayor Sam Cooper read the Arbor Day proclamation.

The city has been named a Tree City USA for the 26th year. This designation, awarded by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters, was earned for the City of Rehoboth Beach's tree canopy stewardship and continued commitment to a green city.
