Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market opens for 11th season

May 9, 2017

Pat Coluzzi, market master for the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market, rang the opening bell May 2 for the market's 11th year. New hours this year are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday in May, September and October; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the busy months of June, July and August. This season there are 45 vendors, many of whom have been with the market from the beginning.

On opening day, market-goers found fresh asparagus, juicy strawberries and seasonal greens to purchase along with a selection of plants and herbs for the garden.

The market is located in Grove Park at the lighthouse circle, behind the chamber of commerce Visitor Center. During the market season, free parking is available within a two-block radius from the market on Henlopen Avenue, Columbia Avenue and Felton Street.
