Rehoboth Boardwalk too bumpy

October 20, 2016

In regard to Peter McCauley's comments about the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, I agree completely.

In his last few years, my late husband became disabled and wheelchair-bound. He loved the beach and listening to the sound of the waves. After a few trips taking him on the Boardwalk in his wheelchair, he declined to go anymore, complaining about the uncomfortable ride.

If there had been a smoother track for him to ride, it would have made his last few months much more enjoyable.
