Rehoboth Elementary groundbreaking ushers in new school

May 2, 2018

Cape Henlopen School District officials and board members officially kicked off construction April 11 at Rehoboth Elementary with a groundbreaking ceremony.

District voters approved a new $29 million elementary school in 2016 to be built on the property of the existing Rehoboth Elementary. Once it’s finished, the two buildings that make up Rehoboth Elementary, including the original Rehoboth High School, will be torn down.
