Rehoboth Elementary holds mentor appreciation breakfast

June 4, 2017

Rehoboth Elementary School enjoyed the aid of 40 mentors over the course of the school year. These volunteer mentors assisted teachers in the classrooms by working with small groups of students to enhance learning skills such as word blending, reading and basic math. To show appreciation for their dedication to the students of Rehoboth Elementary, Mentor Coordinator Kathleen Law organized an appreciation breakfast for the mentors.

During the breakfast, Superintendent Robert Fulton, Assistant Superintendent Cathy Petitgout, Curriculum Supervisor Donna Kolakowski and Principal Susan Donahue expressed their gratitude for the countless hours these volunteers gave to help the students.

Many students then joined the breakfast to offer thanks and hugs for the help they received throughout the school year.
