Ribbon cutting held for TaCaCo Alpacas of Delaware

May 27, 2017

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting May 8 to welcome TaCaCo Alpacas of Delaware to the resort area. Their new retail location at 33 Wilmington Ave. in downtown Rehoboth Beach opened in December 2016.

The retail shop, owned by sisters Karla Mears and Kelley Boyce, is an offspring of the alpaca farm Kelley and her husband Blair have in Laurel.

They carry a full line of hypoallergenic alpaca clothing, accessories and yarns. Customers will find unique gifts including organic soaps wrapped in alpaca fiber, paraben-free body lotion and body wash, unique jewelry, and a nice selection of Peruvian Pima Cotton clothing.

The store is open at noon Friday-Monday, and will be open seven days a week beginning in mid-June. For more information on the farm and retail store, call 302-236-7950 or go to www.tacacoalpacasofdelaware.com.
