July 16, 2017

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Maureen; his children, Sue (Craig) Snyder of Hockessin, and Paul of Auburn Hills, Mich.; cherished granddaughters, Megan and Abby Snyder of Hockessin; his sisters, Claire (Hank) Yost of New Jersey, and Charlotte MacElrath of Florida; sisters- and brothers-in-law in Ireland and England; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, 30839 Mount Joy Road, Millsboro, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, where friends may call one hour prior for visitation. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Patrick Fathers, 8422 W. Windsor Ave., Chicago, IL 60656 or stpatrickfathers.org.
