Robert J. "Bob" McMillan, enjoyed fishing

Robert J. "Bob" McMillan, 79, of Lewes, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late David and Mary (Peoples) McMillan.

Mr. McMillan enjoyed fishing and was an avid video game enthusiast. In his younger years, he had a deep love for dancing. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two daughters: Brandy Baker of Sarasota, Fla., and Monica McMillan of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one son: Michael McMillan of Maryland; five grandchildren: Jacob Rexroat, Christina Browning, Cody DeSerio, Hunter DeSerio and Cayleb Foster; three god daughters: Holly Goergen, Mary McKiel and Debbie Connelly; two brothers: George McMillan and Eddie McMillan; and one sister, Veronica Maurer.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call between 2 and 3 p.m.
