Ronald Perry Lynch, retired state trooper

Ronald Perry Lynch of Frankford, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Vollie M. Lynch and Hazel (Evans) Lynch.

Ronald was a Delaware State Trooper for 20 years, retiring in 1979 as captain of Troop 4, Georgetown and also co-owned Cove Liquors from 1979-84. He was on the Planning and Zoning Commission of Delaware from 1994 to 2004 and was a member of the Doric Lodge 30 AF&AM Masonic Lodge, Millville.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Ann (Quillen) Lynch; a daughter, Sherrie Griffiths and son-in-law Jack; one granddaughter, Amy Lore and her husband Bob; one great-granddaughter, Emilie Hough; and one sister, Mary Jane Grapperhous and her husband Bill.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m., at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Str. Frankford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company, 39453 Zion Church Road, Frankford, DE 19945.
