Ruth Geneva Doxzon Lingenfelder, Millsboro homemaker

Ruth Geneva Doxzon Lingenfelder, 87, of Millsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.

Ruth was born in Baltimore, Md., Nov. 14, 1929, daughter of the late Roy and Nettie Doxzon. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter Sharon (Lingenfelder) Trimble.

Ruth is survived by her husband Christopher Lingenfelder Sr.; five children, Denny and Linda (Lingenfelder) Hess of Fairfield, Pa., Bruce and Christine (Lingenfelder) Peterson of Greencastle, Pa., Phil and Kathleen (Lingenfelder) Brown of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Christopher and Susan Lingenfelder of Georgetown, John Lingenfelder and partner Brenda Carney of Millsboro; and a daughter-in-law, Norma Barletta of Ocala, Fla. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
